James and his wife Lesley have three boys, Avett, Myles, and Benton. When not working, James enjoys the outdoors and playing music.

Bret has been with our firm since 2009. Bret is experienced in taxation, audits, compilations, reviews, tax planning, financial statement preparation, and various other services.
Bret graduated with honors from Campbell University with a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting (Magna Cum Laude). He also graduated with honors from Campbell University with a Masters of Business Administration (Summa Cum Laude).
Bret and his wife Michelle prefer to spend their free time near any body of water, with a rod and reel firmly in their grasp.

Shauna joined our staff in 2019. Shauna is a graduate of Concord University with a Bachelors in Business Administration.

Brant has served our clients and community for over 40 years. Brant has been with the firm since 1978, and is a trusted advisor to our business, individual, and non-profit clients.
Brant graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1970.
Brant and his wife Nancy have two boys, Neil and Greg, and several beautiful grandchildren. He enjoys traveling (particularly Europe), woodworking, and trying out the newest technological gadget.
Brant proudly serves as Treasurer for his church, Wallace United Methodist Church, and has served in various other roles over time.
